Blower Fan Ender 3

Once the mainboard has been replaced the only other source of excess noise comes from the fan.

Upgrade the ender 3 to direct drive and dual blower fans for cheap. That being said recabling the wires to the controller would have been a hassle so i ended up cutting the wires near the old fan and soldering to the new fans to save timehassle so i guess i didnt really need the ender 3 cabling. I personally dont see any issues with the cooling on the ender 3 but i am sure better units wouldnt hurt.

The first problem can be overcome by implementing step down modules which convert our 24v source to and 12v output by adjusting them correctly. The ender 3 runs on 24v but our fans are only rated for 12v. I did small modification to the stock fan duct it improved the results for me hope you like it too.

Just so i understand there is one fan on the front of the hot end carriage and one blower on the side. Still the fans were exactly what the ender 3 needed and they work fine. By lorddrake feb 11 2019.
