Fan Controller Arduino

Fan controller nzxt. The pc communicates with the arduino via the serial port. Connect the in pin of the relay module to the pin 9 of arduino. Here the bt136 triac is connected to pin 6 of arduino.

These values are used to control the speed of the fan using pwm and the analogwrite. So i got an arduino wrote some code and now i can control my fan. As you can see in the picture it is a simple and basic setup.

Lm35 is a precision integrated circuit whose output voltage is linearly proportional to celsius centigrade temperature. Some fans with three pins have plus minus but then a speedometer pin. Firstly make sure that you fans are pwm controller you can check this by making sure that your fan connector has 4 wires.

In the first step declare all the required variables which are going to be used throughout the code. Connect pin 16 which is the negative of backlight of led to the ground of arduino. You need a fan with a plus red pin a minus black pin and a speed pin.

How to connect it. This project allows users to control two different fans and a servo. This is an arduino nano based simple controller using a nokia 5110 display bc547 npn transistor a 3 wire 12v pc fan 2 leds and a ds18b20 temperature sensor.

The arduino throttles the fans using pid logic and drives them through pwm. The fans will automatically turn on if a certain temperature is reached and the servo will turn 90 degrees. Connect vcc pin of relay module to the 5v pin of arduino.

On the input side of the relay module make the following connections. Arduino uno fan control. The fanlcd re maps the temp to allow the display of fanspeed in a 0 to 100 range so you can say that the speed of the fan is directly dependent of the lm35s temperature.

Figure out the pins of the fan connector. The temperature and fan speed are reported through a 8 digit 7 segment display fitted on a rack mounted aluminium bar. In this case well manipulate the arduino code to give us a variable pwm signal on digital pin 9 of the arduino and well then filter this signal to give us an adjustable dc level which can be applied to the gate of the mosfet.

The speedometer pin is an output of the fan saying how fast the fan is rotating.
