Box Fan Dehydrator

Ive always wanted to try the box fan dehydrator so today i went out and grabbed what i needed at the cheapest prices i could find.

A pack of filters costs as much as a cheap dehydrator but fun concept just for the heck of it. The deal with commercial dehydrators this info courtesy of alton brown is that they have to go to 170 because they dont have the air flow capability to dry the items. I use 100w light bulbs and when i did a test run without the shelves the box held at 125 degrees fahrenheit.
