Fan Only On Ecobee

Any tips as how to do this.

680 the fan lineup. I also tried disconnecting the ecobee and running a jumper from r to g to check that the controller board was fine and the fan starts up just fine with the jumper. I also tried running the ac and the fan is not going on at all only the compressor. I triple checked the wiring and its all according to instructions.

Hi i think that you should call ecobee support and check the way your fan is connected to your ecobee ie. I have a ecobee3 basic furnace with no ac. Ecobee how to run the fan only option on the furnance.

The idea is that there is still useful heatingcooling left in the system immediately after. Since the built in device in smartthings allows me to manually toggle between fan auto and off which would be fine. That is exactly what the circulate fan feature does so this feature is a big plus for me.

If you see minfanontimes value change from 10 to 0 at the ecobee portal and your fan is still running on its own as the fan will still run when your hvac is heating or cooling even if you set this parameter to 0 then there must be a problem with the way your fan is. I have ecobee 2 lite. After that i could control the fan without the heat.

Anyway i want to turn the fan on at 10pm and turn it off at 1am. On the last set i choose ecobee to control the fan. Non smart but programmable thermostat on the lower level and at night it gets hot on the upper level as the cooler air settles on the lower level and the thermostat stops cycling the ac.

Your ecobee also has the ability to control the fan mode for specific comfort settings such as home away and sleep.
